How do I generate referrals?

There are many opportunities to generate referral business:

·         Relatives
·         Friends
·         Neighbors
·         co-workers
·         past clients
·         other

Ask them if they have real estate needs.  If they plan to buy or sell real estate within one year?  If yes, explain that you are associated with Major and would like to have a qualified full-time Sales Associate contact them to provide a full line of real estate services.

What type of properties can I refer?

You can generate referral fees on residential sales, commercial sales and leasing transactions.

How do I renew my real estate license when it comes due?

You are responsible for license renewals, State fees, and complying with Continuing Education (CE) Requirements. You may take your Continuing Education Classes online at http://www.REacademe.com.  

How much is the annual fee at Major Referral Network?

You shall pay an Annual Membership fee of $195.00 to keep your real estate license in an operative status with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations. The annual fee shall be payable upon joining Major Referral Network and on each and every anniversary date of the Agency Agreement.  The annual fee is not refundable or proratable if the agreement is terminated prior to the anniversary date.

Are taxes deducted from my earnings?

No, you are responsible for paying your income tax in accordance with federal and state laws. 

How much can I earn as a referral fee?

Generally referrals placed will collect a 25% referral fee, which would be split equally (50%/50%) between Major Referral Network and the Referring Associate.  For more information see Sample Referral Fee Accounting.

How should I submit my referral?

In the event a potential Client is looking for real estate services you shall introduce such a person to the Managing Broker of Major Referral Network Company, so a proper referral to an active licensee can be established.
